about us

We concentrate our development activities on the re-use of brownfield sites with difficult technical challenges. It is particularly satisfying to witness the rebirth of unused and derelict sites, many of which are eyesores and contribute nothing to their locality. Some of these projects have been located in disadvantaged areas and we are particularly proud of the positive impact on regeneration that our work is bringing.

We have also found viable new uses for a number of historic buildings and thereby secured their long term future. The condition of these buildings was often very poor with a real risk of loss. Our involvement in their repair and conservation has allowed us to develop skills and expertise in a number of conservation techniques such as the use of lime mortars and renders and the non-destructive control of timber decay. We have particular experience in projects with both regeneration and conservation aspects and we believe passionately in the benefits of conservation-led regeneration.
